Who can participate?

Children aged 4 to 12 can register for the SpellBytes International Olympiad. Participants will be grouped and evaluated based on their age category.

How do we participate for the competition?

Once registered, students will get access to our exclusive exam portal, which includes a carefully curated word bank and unlimited mock tests to help them prepare effectively.

This access remains valid until three days before the exam.

For those who wish to explore and practice further, an optional interactive learning portal is also available. This includes word games, quizzes, and additional study modules that make vocabulary learning more engaging.

    Junior

    (4, 5, 6 years)

    Made for little ones taking their first steps into spelling and language. With age-appropriate words and a playful tone, this category keeps learning light and exciting

    Intermediate

    (7, 8, 9 years)

    For growing minds with expanding vocabularies. This level encourages confident spelling and word recognition through a balanced mix of fun and challenge.

Do all the category students compete together?
No. To keep things fair and age-appropriate, all participants are grouped into three separate categories based on age.
Do I get any mock test?
Yes! Once you register, you'll get free access to our exam portal, which includes an extensive word bank and unlimited mock tests
What features are included if I purchase the SpellBytes interactive learning portal?
The interactive learning portal is an optional add-on that helps students practice beyond the exam portal. It includes:
  • Word games and spelling challenges
  • Timed quizzes and activity-based learning
  • Extended word lists and advanced vocabulary practice
  • Progress tracking to monitor learning
This add-on is perfect for learners who want more engaging and structured preparation.
From where can I attend the exam?
Login to exam.wizycom.com with the registered credentials.
When will access to the exam portal be provided?
You will get an email confirmation on registration after which you can login to exam.wizycom.com with the registered credentials
Will there be any negative marking?
You will earn 1 mark for each correct answer. For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted — which means you'll lose 1 mark for every 4 incorrect answers. No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions.
How will I get to know my result?
The results will be published on the official website.
Is this an Internationally recognised examination?
With participants from over 75 countries, this competition stands as a truly international event year after year.
What is the duration of the examination?
The examination is 15 minutes long.
How many questions will there be in the exam?
All categories will have the same number of questions — 50 in total
Will I be given a participation certificate?
Yes, all participants will receive a certificate, and the winners will be awarded exciting prizes.
Can I access the exam portal through a mobile app?
Currently, we don't have an app for the exam portal. We have a web application, so everyone can access it easily, whether they use iOS or Android
